Shooting.. Orpailleur.ca

Back to summer 2014, when i’ve been commissioned by the marvelous vineyard “L’Orpailleur”. They’ve asked me to do their visual for their new website. And some pictures for their econo-musée.

It was a big fun to work with great people and especially with Maryse Blanchard who coordinate it like a Maestro, not even talking about the sweet backdrop all around us. We’ve worked on some head shots  of the staff included the founders, and capturing some wine technics.

Le Vignoble de L’orpailleur is also known to be the first winyard in quebec, and it’s quite a challenge with the rugged winter here. Hervé Durand founded it with his associate Charles-Henri De Coussergues another great wine maker from France, and also president of “L’association de Vignerons du Québec“. Additionned to Frank Furtado, famous in Quebec for his leading of the opening and closure of the Montreal Olympics in 76’s, and Pierre Rodrigue who is also VP at Bell Media, They works hard to put wine from Quebec on the map.

Life.. Spring is around the corner

Spring is almost there for pretty much everybody except for us in Canada, East Canada more precisely. It’s been always rougher and harder to skate here, but it’s what in the same time it give it more flavour. Even if we have at least a complete month before temperature came back to “normal”. We can feel here in Montreal already a spring mood in the street.

Here are some pictures from last fall 2014. It’s almost there.

Shooting.. Barbegazi fest 2015

This year of Barbegazi Fest was really coldy, this weekend was a record of low temperature in Montreal, around -25 degrees Celcius. Although the warriors went throught it.

The Polar Hero race, with the obstacles to jump over, the slippery wall, the big bike race was really fun. The snow skate was on point like usually . But the lumberjacks was definitely the most impressive thing to watch, this year they take it further. Those guys are crazy, but worth to watch.

Thanks to the Tribu Agency and their crew, for the fun!

have a look on the full gallery at the official Barbegazi Facebook page.

Life.. The same but different..

It was about time,

2010 was the last time i upgraded my old portfolio, some much happened since then in my life, and it did not follow on here.

The layout looks the same at first, but has been deeply upgraded with faster and easier functions to navigate.

As well for the blog, it is still available in 4 languages, and faster loading. With a new fresh header featuring J-F Taillon.

Finally, the logo looks less ghetto and is more actual with a drop of Montreal in it.

I also invite you to follow me on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, with a different for each one. Facebook will obviously follow my actuality, while Instagram will be more personal. And Twitter about things i find interesting on the internet.

Speaking of contents, i let you discover my portfolio V.2 simply by clicking on the picture below.

Cheers!

Shooting.. Empire City Trooper 2014

I’m really not a snowboard photographer, but sometimes its nice to shoot something different, like this event i got assigned to do for Tribu

powered by the Empire stores and Rogers and Vans Canada. The City Trooper event was a blast, we got lucky by the weather and got it pretty smooth all the day.

The winner went back home with 7 grand just before christmas, not bad at all.

the complete gallery is on the official Facebook page of the event, right here.
