Shooting.. Mud Rocker 2014

Last week end, I’ve been assigned to shoot the first edition of the Mud Rocker event produced by Tribu.

for be honest i don’t know anything about Bmx and Mountain Bike, but i was excited to shoot it. It was located downtown Montreal

in the middle of St Denis street, one of the busiest street of the city. And the show went nuts, the guys weren’t joking at all. I’ve seen a lot of bails that would knock off anybody (myself on the top of the list).

It was definitely the best event i had to work on. looking forward for the second edition next year!

Also i want to add couple of words about the first picture. I shoot it from the roof top of one of the building of the street,

it was quite scary, espcially when you have vertigo, like i have.

But it wasn’t my idea first. the first day i actually seen a picture of my fellow photographer Gophrette

who did pretty much the same angle picture, minus the flash. and i ask him, if he could show me how to get to this spot, cause i knew it would be a banger shot.

we went there during the finals, when the bikers was on fire to catch that 3000$. I’ve stolen is angle that day, so i think it was fair to let him stole my lights and let him reshoot it.
